And of course, we have Greg Kosell. He helps us break down the tape of the Eagles and their opponent.

And their opponent on Saturday, yet another unconventional slot for the Eagles,

is the NFC East rival commanders. And at the beginning of the year,

we all thought this might be a very big game. They're going to play each other twice

over the final three weeks.

It's a big game for the Eagles because they can wrap up the NFC East, but not necessarily

one for the commanders who are playing it out as they have had an abysmal season. Eagles are

nine and five and the commanders are four and ten and adam we've talked about it so much so

i'd be remiss if i didn't start the show saying that the eagles are this close doing something

that no nfc east team has done since the eagles actually did it more than 20 years ago and that's

repeat as nfC East champs.

Yeah, they did it four years in a row, 01 through 04. It's really hard to believe. I remember when I told you this like three or four years ago we talked about it. You go, you sure about that? I said, dude, I couldn't believe it when I looked it up. I heard it so insane. I'm like, this can't be right, but it is. Yeah. Yeah, so look, Washington's been besieged by injury.

They were going to sort of hand it off to Kroski Merritt as the season would progress. But things change. He tours Achilles. E Eckler did, and they had significant problems at

receiver. With McLaurin, he signs his contract and he's out for several weeks. Then McCaffrey,

he suffers a serious injury. He's on injured reserve. Then both edges are lost for the season.

Latimore, you could argue whether he's a same player or not he towards ACL. Bobby Wagner has a lingering knee injury. We'll see about that. And we'll get the injury report later. But just bringing this up because you can't predict these things. But the one thing, though, where I think the commanders went wrong is they became the oldest team of the National Football League. That's not what you want to do. Nope. No, that's definitely it.
