Welcome back to the Air Pod. I'm your host Omit Skobie with the latest from the House of Windsor flying solo this week because our dear Maggie Rooly is currently on assignment

but that doesn't stop us from getting through a mountain of royal stories this week.

It has usually been a typically quiet time for the royal family.

August is the one time of the year that they all sort of universally take vacations or at least time off.

I doubt much travel is happening for anyone right now.

But of course that hasn't stopped us

and really having a lot of stories to get through this week including the Duchess of Sussex and her

conversation with the activist Gloria Steinham about the importance of voting.

We'll be talking about that shortly and later in the episode I'll be joined by the author of a

controversial new book on Prince Andrew and his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Of course this is in the run up to Gilean Maxwell's trial next year.

There are many unanswered questions and I'll be speaking with Nigel Korthon to get to some of

the bottom of the most burning questions

that many of you have about this story. But before we get to that we have seen one member of the royal family on the cover of a magazine.

Sophie the Countess of Wessex appeared on the September issue of Good Housekeeping

magazine in the UK, opening up about the dangers of social media

and admitting that her own two children, Louise and James, aren't actually into social media,

despite being 16 and 12 years old respectively but

she did talk about the importance of equipping children with the tools to

navigate social media successfully.

She says, I think that openness is the one way families can support their teenagers.

If children feel they can discuss issues and worries with their parents without fear, or their friends being judged.
