Bill Barr, the attorney general, the guy that William Safire back in the 90s used to refer to as

cover up General Barr because he helped cover up the Iraq Gate scandal.

It was the illegal sale of weapons of mass destruction by George Herbert Walker Bush to Saddam Hussein,

and he helped cover up the Iran-Contra scandal by pardoning or advising Bush to pardon

Casper Weinberger, Ollie North, and three other people, which caused Lawrence Walsh, the prosecutor,

the special prosecutor to say this is a complete cover up and you've completely blown my case

against Bush and Reagan, which is exactly what's going on.

So I'll just give you the short version of what's going on in Congress right now.

It's all over the TVs, but it's really a rather disheartening show.

Jerry Nadler, being a lawyer and being Jerry Nadler,

is reading boring monologues and commentaries

about how Bill Barr is using the Justice Department to help Donald Trump politically.

And Jim Jordan, his opponent on the Republican side, who is a high school gym teacher,

has been jumping up and down and yelling and

screaming and doing all his theatric stuff not sounding at all like a lawyer and

frankly sounding a hell a lot more convincing. Jim Jordan also played a two, three, four minute,

God only knows how long video of evil black people

breaking into a store and stealing things and evil protesters in Portland trying to pull down a chain-length fence around the federal building.

Turns out that the rules of the House of Representatives require 48 hours notice to the other side

if you're going to present visual video evidence.
