say, here to Steve, it means we've watched a full practice with a lot of

scrimmage periods on Saturday morning. This is your special extra Saturday

podcast. I think it will be in place of a Monday pod. So if you know the Monday

pod, just re-listen to this thing. We saw a lot. We're going to run through all the

guys that we want to talk about. We're going to start with Nathan Beard. Who do you

want to talk about first? I got two words for you, Doug. Tristan Gavia. No.

Let's talk about the quarterbacks. I was watching the quarterbacks. Actually,

Tristan Gavia, I thought looked pretty good. I think the third spot is as good as

it's been since I've been here, probably looked pretty solid. But obviously,

this is our first chance to see Comic-Cord and Devon Brown in competitive

situations, like scrimmage situations, facing a defense, something that in the

early windows we saw, we hadn't got to see. And I thought a pretty tight day, you

and I at one point kind of passed on the sideline there. I'm like, eh, I don't

really lean either way here. I think they both look, they're both having pretty

similar days. And I thought Comic-Cord made some significant plays down the

stretch. There was a play, they started one scrimmage period at the 50-yard line.

The first play of that scrimmage, Comic-Cord did sort of like a pump fake to

get Jordan Hancock to flinch a little bit and hit Jane Ballard for a touchdown

pass, one play, 50-yard drive. And then later, the next time through that
