Ten days.

It took FEMA just 10 days to approve permanent disaster work in Texas after Hurricane

Harvey last year.

Compare that to 43 days for the same declaration in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.

It's one of many disparities in how the federal government treated Texas and Puerto Rico

after hurricanes struck last August and September.
