Last Wednesday, President Joe Biden marked the first 100 days of his presidency with an address to a joint session of Congress.

Members of Congress, I have the high privilege and distinct honor to present to you the President of the United States.

And what a difference a year makes.

Gone was the other guy, as Biden refers to Donald Trump, in an effort not to dwell on the Cheeto-dusted

Maga Boogieman.

Gone too was the divisive rhetoric and eternal fighting that marked the past four years.

Madam Speaker, Madam Vice President, no president has ever said those words from this podium.

No president has ever said those words.

And it's about time.

Trump loved to deliver pictures of doom and gloom, a coming apocalypse to be ushered in by savage immigrants and radical liberals.

Instead, we got a pep talk about better days to come.

America's moving. Moving forward.
