Hello, my dark darlings. I'm Marcia, and this is the Something Scary podcast. Did you know that

something scary is mainly written, produced, animated, and hosted, of course, by women? People are

surprised when they learn that, because in horror, that's not often the case. So in honor of

women's history mom, I wanted to give a shout out to Janine, Sarah,

Mari, Irma, Sapphire, and Gale, and all the female pioneers in this space who came before us.

Keep on doing your great work and building the community of fierce females in horror.

More people are scared of bugs than they are afraid of

becoming the victim of crimes or even dying. These people suffer from entomophobia, the fear of

insects. And when you think about crawlers that are small enough to burrow into the crevices of your skin,

winged bugs that can attack from above, and billions of cockroaches that can survive a nuclear apocalypse,

maybe we should all be scared to death of an insect invasion.

First, killer growing pains, followed by death lurks from above.

Then art imitates murder.
