My crazy cousin decides to have an intervention for me as she's convinced that I have some kind of substance problem.

But after showing up to my own intervention that I never knew I needed, I quite literally laughed in my cousin's face and explained why she was wrong and incredibly stupid.

But now as a result, my mom is saying that I need to apologize to her as she thinks that I did my cousin a great

injustice. So I'm honestly very frustrated and very confused, and at this point, I seriously

don't know what to do. Here's what happened. I'm a 27-year-old male, and I have a condition which

causes me to overproduce earwax. I don't tell people about it because I was bullied for it growing up, and only my wife

and my parents know. Every other day, I have to put medication in each ear. I let it sit,

and then I flush it out with a rubber-tip syringe. This prevents ear infections, vertigo,

permanent hearing loss, and worsening of my tinnitus. I have dealt with all of these

things to some extent, so I stay on top

of my ear drop regimen. If my alarm goes off when I'm with others, I go to the bathroom for 20

minutes and then I just knock it out. If I don't follow my schedule, then I forget, so I can't put it off

ever. Two weeks ago, my mom hosted a family dinner. My cousin, who we will call Karen, saw me waltz off to the bathroom to do my

thing with my syringe in hand and asked me what I was doing. But I said it was just a minor medical

thing. She kept pushing, but I didn't want to say anything because she gossips like crazy. I told her

it's personal and then I scooted past. When I left, she was just standing in the hallway.

She then asked me what took me so long and why the toilet didn't flush. But I said it was none of

her business. And she responded by saying, oh, well, I didn't mean to offend you. Fast forward and

last weekend, my friend called me to invite me out to lunch with some of my buddies. And he said to meet up at his house so we

wouldn't have to drive separately. Well, when I arrive at his house, I find Karen and my friends

sitting solemnly on the couch. Karen then said that they were here to talk about my problem,
