Hi everyone welcome to the A6 and Z podcast I'm Sonol and as your primary

host editor and showrunner here of the past seven years I wanted to share some of my

very favorite just a few selected episodes for you on this feed as I get ready to make a change and as we

get ready to relaunch this show and new on this feed. The second of these three

episodes is a conversation that originally took place spring summer 2019 pre-pend, ah that we could remember that time between A6 and Z co-founder

Mark Andresen and myself interviewing author, consultant advisor, and former pro-Poker player Annie Duke on one of her first appearances here.

It's a conversation quite unlike her other conversations and it's one of my favorites because Mark and I did

several of these interviews together where we really bring out different aspects based on our own interests combined.

And here's a fun behind the scenes fact about this episode.

Mark had to leave midway for an urgent meeting,

so I had to rebalance the episode to account for both of our

segments together but we all talk super fast together barely caught our breaths and

cover such a range of topics relevant to both businesses and individuals, basically all of you, covering skill

versus luck, outcomes versus process, asking the right questions, on how to communicate about

probabilities instead of just deadlines on a team and on how not

making a decision is also a decision and why that matters. Be sure to also check out in this
