Summary
Projection is a defense mechanism where someone displaces their own unresolved feelings or thoughts onto another person or group. It's a way for people to cope with emotional discomfort and conflict without acknowledging their own emotions.
We've all projected our stuff unconsciously onto others at times... and we've also been the recipients of others' projections.
In the world we're living in today, there's SO much projection going on. As lightworkers and spiritually awake people, we need a strategy to (1) protect ourselves from others' projections and (2) be conscious and mindful enough so WE don't project our stuff onto others, either.
Join me for this episode where I discuss:
- why projection is such a common human reaction (and coping mechanism)
- what it really means to project -- and to be projected onto
- how to shift your mindset and internal attitude so that others' projections don't affect you as much
- how to set inner and outer boundaries so you can protect your space, energy, and sanity... without allowing others to project onto you
- developing a more confident, fierce, self-respecting, and assertive persona so you can stand your ground when needed
- how to become a MASTER DEFLECTOR - someone who can see through others' projections and not automatically react or take them personally
