Yeah, I'm so excited for this conversation.

So as usual, let's start at the beginning and tell me a little bit about how you first found your way to spirituality and spiritual pursuits. Oh yeah. So when I was

a kid I grew up in a Catholic family and you know we weren't necessarily devout but for some

reason I was always very curious about about God and I was always very serious about having a faith that was authentic to me and

I was very devout Catholic for many years and no one else in my family was that devout. I was the only one

and I actually growing up I wanted to be a priest that was kind of my dream and obviously as a catholic that was not going to happen um and i

went in you know in my college years i learned a lot of things and i kind of had that that classic

crisis of faith um when you start broadening your your knowledge and um i lost god for a while and I it was a really really difficult experience

and I was kind of depressed and then I was going through my grandfather's books my grandfather
