Hello, my friend and fellow spiritual seeker and traveler on this spiritual path of awakening.

I'm Josephine Hartman, host of this inner work, a spiritual growth podcast, and I'm thrilled

to welcome you into another bonus episode here today.

These have been coming fast and furious, so we're just going to keep going with these. I'm going

to keep putting them out as they come as they flow through divine inspiration.

And for this bonus episode, I wanted to expand a little bit on the idea that we explored

previously on this podcast and on my YouTube channel that sometimes family and friends and people in our inner circle

may not understand our spiritual path. And sometimes this can lead to feelings of loneliness or

disconnection or even frustration if we are trying to share what we're

going through and others may not be fully getting it or even wanting to hear about it or

interested or curious. Maybe even in some cases we may get some pushback or judgment or skepticism.

So I wanted to talk a little bit more about this.

So if you're here, I imagine that you've had moments, maybe even long stretches of time,

where your inner growth, your spiritual practices, or the shifts that you've been making in your life, maybe have felt strange to the people around you.

Maybe it just feels like they're not seeing these changes or they're not getting

why you're changing or questioning you. So this can be a tender place to stand. It can sometimes

be, as we said, a lonely place to stand. So let's talk about why this happens, how to soften that sting of feeling

misunderstood, and how to keep walking your path with integrity and peace, regardless of how

others may react to you.

So our first idea here is really that awakening changes the landscape.

Awakening changes your inner landscape and awakening, therefore, changes how you experience your external landscape and reality as well.

What you see there, what you create, what you co-create, what comes forth in your life
