First thing I'll say is that inner peace does not exist in some future moment to be uncovered.

It's the byproduct of a mind that embraces all dimensions of who you are.

And this is important to remember on the journey of inner peace because it is very easy to get caught up in this subconscious striving for a moment in the future when things will arrange themselves in such a way that we can be peaceful with them.

Even though we might know it's an internal journey. A lot of times when we think about

our process of growth, we are anticipating a future moment where it's going to come together

or it will be easier or when I will get that thing that I'm working toward.

And the reason this is important but also subtle is because there is some truth to

inner peace potentially coming in some future moment, meaning the work we're doing right now

might take us to a place in the future

where we really do experience that inner piece. But it's not going to come from trying to get

somewhere. It's going to come from going deeper into yourself right here. And so it's the byproduct of a mind that embraces all dimensions of who you are.

In order to do that requires meeting whatever is here right now,

even if it's the absence of inner peace,

tension, frustration, sadness, low self-esteem,

low self-worth, self-critique, all of that, softening into that, making space for it, saying,

I see you sadness, I see you pain, I see you anger, I see you temper tantrum quarry and just relaxing into that.
