Spears is making his color analyst debut on NBC sports Bay Area. He is going to be the

color commentator on his alma mater. San Jose State as they take on Air Force. Spears,

this is exciting. I've watched some really interesting basketball, I'll say, over the

last couple of days, trying to get ready. Certainly isn't Duke or Gonzaga for that matter,

but I'm going to talk about it as if it is. Right. Absolutely. I love it. I love it.

I'm going to give a dope college try. I'm excited, man. It should be fun. I've never done

it. I did play college basketball, so always kind of been intrigued by that world. And

it's going to have fun with it. And I'm excited. You'll love this, Kevin, you'll love this.

So I'm doing three games, one's the men's game, two are women. And one of the players

on the center of the states, when his basketball team is the daughter of Mark Jones, ESPN's

own manager. Oh, man. Yeah. Yeah. The old assistant coach for the Seattle storm up here

was his daughter was an assistant coach at San Jose State. So Jones, he always had that

like connection and would shout out Gary Klopp and Berk, who had just left the organization

for that. So I knew that. Man, Mark Jones won the best in the business. So who have

you studied, uh, Spiers? I mean, now you like, do you want to like a hubie brown? Um,

sound. Uh, I've watched two Air Force games watch two soundly state games. This is for

the men. Yeah. So watch soundly state lose to a Air Force and Wyoming. Watch those two
