Hello and welcome to the Friday March 15th

2019 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we were talking about

the monoY Unbale event. I am still out in California, so I apologize for the audio being

a little bit different today. I also lost my voice a little bit last night, so recovering from that as well.

Tessel stock on the day today did finish down 5.01% to $275.43, this compared to the NASDAQ up 0.76%.

I'm going to keep today's episode relatively brief and kind of just give my main overall

thoughts and takeaways from the event.

We're definitely going to go into more detail later on. But for today, I just want to kind of talk about the things that were maybe a little bit unique to being at the event in person,

versus all of the information that we have online right now.

I haven't had a chance to watch the video of last night yet, so I don't

really know how everything cut through on the live stream, but in person I thought Elon did

a good job with the presentation. There was a lot of audience interaction that may have appeared to be a little

bit awkward just on the live stream, but in person it didn't really feel that way to me. I mean there's always a little bit obviously,

but that's part of Elon's personality and part of his appeal, I think, too.

Elon to me seemed to be in pretty good spirits.

Again, he was joking around a lot with the audience.

And I would say the audience was pretty enthusiastic.

I saw some comments online that it didn't seem like the audience was or that it was like forced or something.

That's definitely not the vibe that I got. There were maybe one or two instances of people clapping because that's what we felt like we should do in that moment. But overall I thought people were enthusiastic. people was talking about how far Tesla has come and how hard the team has worked and it was just so clear how deeply he met that.

There were two specific instances where I noticed his eyes starting to well up a little bit.
