freaking timestamps, a minute after we closed our last podcast, Road broke the news that

the Sixers would be moving on from Doc Rivers.

How you doing, Rich?

Derek, I'm doing fine.

Doc Rivers is fired, though.

That did happen.

He gets his $8 million per year to golf.

He'll be okay.

Oh, yeah.

He's probably doing great.

I mean, you know, I remember last time people wondered if Doc would take another job

just because he'd been coaching for so many straight years, you know, with the Celtics and

Clippers, and he jumped right back on the Sixers opportunity. We'll see if that happens again.

I mean, he does have that Riviera membership in Los Angeles, you know. I'm sure,

I'm sure he could play a lot of golf. And yeah, like you said, he had, or like he said, he had two years left on his contract. I mean, look, I don't, like, I feel like the golf joke can go, like, I'm sure Doc wants to coach, I'm sure he enjoys coaching. I'm sure he's competitive. It's just when something like this happens, the ones that I really worry about are the much lower level staffers who tend to go with
