It's been a decade in the NFL.

I'm Grant Paulson.

Logan, OTAs, media in attendance, actually getting to watch football on the field.

And it seemed like the guys were pretty far along in the installation.

They were getting after it like it was a training camp practice right up to what they were allowed to do. First off, we're back. We're halfway through the offseason. You'd count the number of Sundays behind us and in front of us. We're literally just past 50% of the way to the start of a brand new year. Yeah, and I think that's how it felt yesterday, man. You know, like you've been to those early OTA practices. Like, you haven't had football in a while. People have been talking. It's kind of coming off the draft, off free agency. There's not a lot happening. And all of a sudden, you get this, like, kind of, you know, light in the darkness of the first OTA practice and you can just feel the energy in the air.

and you can just feel the energy in the air. Definitely like you talked about all the reporters and all the media being there. You feel it from them. They're excited. You know, John Kimes running around with his notepad, taking notes that no one can read but him and just sprinting here and there. and everyone's like, oh, did you see that what's going on?

And everyone's got their takes that they're kind of, you know,

their confirmation biasing.

But also, I think you feel the energy, the nervous energy, the excitement from the players too when they're on the grass. And I remember back to when I was playing. And that was a big deal, that first OTA, because it was like the first time you're like, man, all this work, I put it in the off season. I get to kind of show it for the first time. And I think you felt a little bit of that on the grass from the team. So, yeah, it was a lot of fun, man, and I really enjoyed going out and watching those practices because, again, it's football. And the other thing that I also love, this is a little bit of a tangent, but I love seeing the individual work. I love seeing the drills that they emphasize because, again, like, as a coach and as someone who loves the game, like, it's always fun to see, like, where some of that, some of that individual drill work is going. So that's always a great time, too. Let's just get into some of the big takeaways that came out of the time on the grass here, because

it is our first chance to see a lot of these veteran signes in free agency. We did see some

guys running around that were among the rookie class that were just drafted, but it was certainly

a lot more of an ask and a lift them in this defense or in this offense. So we'll get into

those observations as well.

But the first thing I think that's pretty clear coming out of this organized team

activity in the time when they were actually playing football was this offense is going

to look very, very different for people.
