0:38.5	I gather that there was something of a meta discussion last week about the role of policy in the 2020 campaign.
0:45.0	It seems that a lot of Democratic campaign staffers must listen to the Weeds on the Vox Media Podcast Network

0:53.0	They obviously disagreed with me, agreed with Sarah, came out with more white papers.
0:57.5	I think that the most recent one, but in some ways the least sort of media of them was Amy Klobuchar
1:04.0	yesterday released for her first campaign policy proposal.
1:09.0	It was on infrastructure.
1:11.0	Her idea was that we should do a trillion dollar infrastructure plan,
1:16.0	sort of along the lines of what Donald Trump said he was going to do.
1:19.0	People who remember the endless infrastructure week jokes may recall that this never really happened.
1:25.0	Trump wound up coming up with a proposal that was actually really mostly to cut infrastructure.
1:30.5	Klobuchar's plan was basically to say, we should do it.
