Hello there I'm Chuck Todd. I'm speaking to you from the set of Meet the Press where we

just finished today's broadcast. I guess today we're the mayor of Miami-Dade County,

Danielle Levine, Cava. We talked about the building collapse and frankly what's next

for the county as they try to figure out what buildings, particularly those built in

the 70s and 80s, need to be re-inspected before they figure out what the resiliency plan

is she also still has hope that this is a search and rescue mission though it does look

dire at this point. I also had exclusive interviews with Senator Bill Cassidy, Republican

O'Leasey and the middle of those bipartisan infrastructure talks and of course Congresswoman

Alexander Ocasio-Cortez and what's interesting look you heard from Bill Cassidy what Joe

Biden did was enough on that supposed veto threat by walking that back just enough.

It was certainly enough for Bill Cassidy to say he's going to keep fighting for this bill.

How linked is it to the Democrats only bill? That's a key question there. It was notable

that the Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez she didn't have a baseline number that had to

be in the reconciliation bill. There may be a reason for that as you'll hear as you probably

heard in the panel discussion as well because Democrats keeping the Democratic coalition

together on this on what the cost is. Yes, progressives are ready to spend a lot of money

but there's still enough more moderate or conservative Democrats who could scuddle that

deal and because the majorities are so narrow they have a tight rope to walk there. But

I'll be honest with you, after you digest both interviews you see there still seems to

be more momentum to get these bills done than not to get them done. With that we hope
