And this is the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie,

who is the mother of today's show host, Savannah Guthrie.

And there is a reason that Luke is here to talk to us about it.

But we're going to first break down just what it is we know,

because, I mean, something about this case is that it both

feels like we've heard nothing and things could change like on a dime. And so at the time of

recording, let's just kind of lay out how things stand. I mean, so first and foremost, Nancy Guthrie

is the mother of today's show host, Savannah Guthrie. She is 84 years old, and she lives in a suburb of Tucson, Arizona.

On February 1, 26, she was reported missing, and she was believed to have been abducted.

Since then, multiple ransom notes, it's unclear if they're all verifiable,

but there's been reports of a number of ransom notes who have demanded payment, notably in cryptocurrency, but the deadlines outlined in those

ransom notes have passed. It was not paid. I also know more recently the Gothry family

offered their own reward. So as of yet nothing has come from those sorts of
