| 0:00.0 | Well, hello and welcome back to Kindled. I have a episode today for you that is a little different |
| 0:23.7 | than what I usually do. It's actually something that I used to do a lot more. Just me and the |
| 0:28.7 | mic. So what I want to talk about is something that I mentioned yesterday actually on Instagram |
| 0:33.8 | because it's something that I have noticed being present on Instagram and just |
| 0:39.6 | kind of in the water, I guess, from a few people that I follow or have followed and just I honestly |
| 0:46.3 | kind of organically noticed the trend and I obviously was not alone. A lot of you said you've |
| 0:51.1 | seen the same trend and that is a influencer divorce rates. |
| 0:57.0 | The social media influencer getting a divorce announcing it and in some cases like making it |
| 1:05.6 | a very big piece of their platform or their personality or their content and just the impact that that is |

| 1:18.6 | self-professed Christians. Self-professing believers in Christ, followers of Christ, |
| 1:24.3 | they'll talk about Jesus and at the same time are like blasting their |
| 1:29.2 | divorce from their platform and in a lot of cases like romanticizing it, redefining language, |
| 1:37.2 | making it look sexy, making it look attractive, scratching itching ears, frankly, like 2 2 Timothy 3.6 says of a lot of their |
| 1:47.6 | followers. And it's just been something very sad to witness. Sad in every case where I see it |
| 1:55.7 | announced. It's obviously devastating for the children that are involved. It's sad for both people in the marriage. It's |
| 2:02.5 | heartbreaking. Divorces is always a loss in the sense of there is something very deep that |
| 2:09.6 | has been broken. Even in cases where it may be have biblical grounds, it is still a loss. |
| 2:16.9 | And so I want to talk about this because a lot of my audience |
| 2:22.7 | also follows these people for different, you know, various reasons, different types of content, |
| 2:28.2 | and a lot of you guys noticed it too. So the first time that I noticed this really phenomenon, if you could call it that, on |
| 2:37.5 | Instagram, on social media was back with Jen Hatmaker and Rachel Hollis in 2020. |
