So we have a grab bag of issues to talk about. We got COVID case numbers going up

even though we have hospitalizations and deaths going down.

We have the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

We have, I don't know what, we have inflation's political, the very real fear that inflation

is going to be a major, if not the major political issue of the next year.

We keep seeing stories about the White House, terrified, sad, upset that it's happened this way

because they were really hoping it wouldn't and all that.

Let me start there because it just seems to me if we want to play like, you know, rank

punditry as Jonah would call it and sort of project out into the next couple of weeks.

Obviously the big outstanding political issue of the year is the build back better

big spending bill. And what we have now is the opportunity for Joe Manchin,

who is one of the two senators who can now block the, who can simply kill the bill off.

Already hinting that he is going to say, we can't spend this money when we are in an inflationary

spiral. So rather than say, I want to work with this and we're going to try this and of course,

you know, all things being we would want that, he may say, look, I'm just going to save my party

in the country from disaster and take the hit. I'm not doing this. I'm voting against it because
