Inflation isn't going away.

Donald Trump yesterday weighed in on Arizona's Supreme Court ruling, which said that an 1800s law that bans nearly all baby killing in that state can go forward.

Here's what he was asked.

Yeah, they did, and that'll be straightened out.

And as you know, it's all about states' rights.

That'll be straightened out.

And I'm sure that the governor and everybody else are going to bring it back into reason.

And that will be taking care of, I think, very quickly.

What do you think about Florida?

Florida is probably maybe going to change or something.

So there you have a Donald Trump just less than 48 hours after releasing that lengthy statement

saying that the federal government has no place in the abortion debate and saying it's all

up to the state, says it's not actually up to the states after all. It's up to, well, I don't

know really who. And Donald Trump doesn't seem to know the answer to that question either.

I'm not really sure what a reasonable measure of baby killing is. As he said, he wants to get the Arizona law back

within reason, but I don't know. Well, I guess we'll find out in the coming days. More on this

a little bit later in air analysis. The Consumer Price Index accelerated at a faster than expected pace in March for the fourth

straight month, which pushed inflation higher and likely dashing hopes that the Federal Reserve

will be able to cut interest rates anytime soon.
