So sit back and relax as we take a look at what's making news in the world of Indiana Jones.

Well, it's the end of an era at Lucasfilm this month as Kathleen Kennedy officially stepped

down as president of the studio after more than a decade at the helm.

Kennedy oversaw the release of Indiana Jones on the dial of destiny, of course. Now, with her

retirement, Dave Faloney has stepped into the role of president and chief creative officer, while Linwin Brennan has

also been named as co-president, signaling a new chapter for Lucasfilm's future direction.

Now, interestingly, reports have also revealed that, along with the abandoned Abner Ravenwood

prequel series, which we knew

about but really should have been a short-round sequel series in my opinion, and Indiana

Jones animated series has been quietly in development under the code name Reggie.

Oh that's just my pet snake Reggie!

Now this show would have explored new adventures for indie in a serialized animated format,

but the project was ultimately cancelled during the leadership transition.

Hopefully this will be revisited as, you know, we've been saying for years

about how an Indiana Jones animated series would be fantastic.
