We begin today in Washington, where President Donald Trump hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This was the seventh meeting between

the two leaders since the start of Trump's second term. In a social media post that followed,

Trump said he talked with Netanyahu about ongoing U.S. negotiations with Iran. The president said he

wants to reach a deal with the Iranian government. He also included an implicit threat, saying, quote,

last time Iran decided that they were better off not making a deal, that did not work well for

them. The social media post from Trump also mentioned Gaza, and despite the fact that the

Israeli military has killed hundreds of Palestinians in recent months, the president wrote,
