Recently, the pastors and elders who lead my church have been prioritizing the public reading of scripture. One Sunday, we didn't even have a sermon.

We just read the scripture aloud together.

On another weekend, several members of my little congregation gathered to read the New Testament.

In its entirety, in two days.

How often do you hear the Word of God read aloud, especially in your church services?

Nancy's going to show us why it's so important to read the Bible out loud with other

believers. She's continuing in a series on the Life of Joshua called Indispensable Ingredients for

chapter one, the first nine verses, and we've seen the changing of the guard as Joshua has
