Once again, we are down in the tent of shame on Westminster Green, College Green, to be precise, behind us at the Palace of Westminster tonight.

We're not entirely certain exactly what those seven or eight or possibly nine indicative votes are going to mean. But what they are going to probably achieve is the square route of absolutely nothing at all
