Well, you know, you also master of commerce, I suppose, master brewing and master of commerce.

Those two things go hand in hand. I like business. I like beer. Nothing like mashing them together.

Let's talk about the business of the city, which is the mayor's race that's already heating up. This thing is going to be a knuckle drag out fight, I think, but

but Joe Hogs not going to win. I don't want to say it, but I think that's going to be, I mean, they're already dropping a million dollars.

Shrieve has dropped 603,000 dollars on ad buys just for the month of July. Hogs not spent another six figures, some of a comparable amounts.

So we're already talking more than a million dollars on the table. And we have months until the November election.

So Ethan, I've been saying for a long time, a long time, really since the primary, I was involved with our friend Abdul's campaign.

Yes, it was I ran for Mary. Yes, you were there. Exactly. We're both there on election night. I mean, heck, I had bounced around the idea of running until Abdul said he wanted to do it.

And I'm like, all right, get Abdul. Go knock him out. I think I think Abdul stood a chance of connecting with the voters of Marion County.

But there's no point in having sour grapes. He's not the nominee. Shrieve is and I'm, look, Shrieve has my vote.

Want to get that out of the way? I'm definitely voting for Shrieve because I am not a fan of Joe Hogs, not I live in Marion County.

I have seen the way the city has declined since 2015.

We've got to get this guy out of here and if Shrieve is the nominee, I would have made a different choice.

But okay, fine. We'll go with him. I'm just afraid Shrieve doesn't have the fire. He has the money.

He bought his way through the primaries. He slapped more than two million dollars to buy his way over Abdul in the primary event.

Now, just to help put this into context of how much money we're talking about dumping in the Indie, Indiana mayoral race, which is unprecedented.

He spent more money on the primaries than any other figure in municipal election history in the state of Indiana, two million dollars on that.

Whereas Jim Merritt dropped $350,000 on the whole damn campaign.

Jefferson Shrieve has the ability and the opportunity. If I was his campaign, I would lock down every political avail for all of September and all of October and at first week of November.

I would completely block out Joe Hogs set from even getting on the air and he has the ability to do that.
