It's interesting that we go to Cigar Aficionado magazine for this next segment, but Indiana has introduced a proposed generational tobacco ban with Senate bill number 322.

It would prohibit the sale of tobacco, e-liquids, and electronic cigarettes to individuals born after June 30th, 2004.

You know, there's a famous sticks song called Too Much Time on My Hands.

And one of the major issues with the Indiana General Assembly is these lawmakers have too much time on their hands

and a relatively small amount of restriction on saving them

from their own stupidity. So what will happen is you'll go back to your district. This is from a guy

named Ed Charbonneau. No, Ed Charbonneau has been there. He's a Republican, by the way.

This is what the Republican Party is doing with their time. He's been there since the Earth was young,

another one of those people.

And these lawmakers, they go back to their districts.

And there's some cause du jour from somebody they're connected to in their district.

And so obviously the smoking loonies, which look, smoking's bad for you.

I am not a smoker and I've never used any illegal drugs.

And, you know, my feeling on smoking is if you're getting any sort of government subsidized insurance, like if I'm paying for it as a tax, if you're on the hip program, Medicaid, whatever

you're going to call it, then you shouldn't be allowed to do that stuff. But if you're a free

thinking person paying your own way in life and you want to vape or you want to smoke or you want to

smoke cigars or whatever you want to do, what business is it of the government?

So what happens, though, is these anti-smoking coalitions or whatever get the ear of their local

lawmaker.

And usually it is someone removed from what's going on throughout much of the state,

which this guy would.

He's Valparaiso, right?
