The legendary collaboration between George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, which produced the Indiana Jones franchise, which started with Raiders of the Lost Ark 1981, followed by Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom 1984.

Rosie, we open in 1936. We meet in trepid archaeologist, tenured university professor, adventurer and grave robber Indiana Jones on a mission to recover a golden idol from an ancient temple and jungles of Peru.

And he's nearly crushed by a boulder, but he does get out alive thanks to, you know, his guile and his trusty bull whip. Unfortunately, the idol is then stolen from his hands by his rival in the field of archaeology.

Jones is like, oh, I think they found the fabled legendary city where the Hebrew Ark of the Covenant is maybe kept in a place called the Well of Souls.

And the US Army intelligence guys are like, wow, I guess we came to the right guy to tell us more.

And it turns out the Nazis are also looking for a guy who specialized in the Ark of the Covenant named Abner Ravenwood and Jones also knows him.

Jones knows Abner's daughter, Marion, and when I say no, what I mean is Jones used to have sexual relations with Marion when in her words, she was a child.
