The WNBA is back after the Olympic break.

It's going to be interesting to see what that means for the Indiana fever because June was really seemingly when they started to hit their stride.

Their head coach, Christy Sides, joins us on the Express Pro Tire and Auto Guest Line.

They will be in action on Friday taking on Phoenix to resume the WNBA schedule, currently sitting at 7th in the WNBA.

Coach, first question would be, in your mind, did that break come at the perfect time, or would you kind of like to have kept things going?

Hey, man, good to talk to you.

Yeah, you know, I think for our players and the experience that we had those first couple months, I think, you know, the break was right on time.

But, again, we were, you know, we have this young team that just keeps getting better with the more time we go with this thing.

So, yeah, I mean, they needed a break.

You know, Caitlin hadn't stopped playing since she started her season, her college season,

the last year and her senior year.

So just her to have some time to kind of, not just physically, but mentally, just

decompress a little bit.

I think that goes across the board for all of our players.

It just really helped us going into this break.

You know, I was happy for you and for the fever as well,

and we've talked about it because obviously there was an acclamation period at the beginning of

the season. You could see where things came together, but I wanted to ask you about this.

I get in today, I log into my computer, and it has all kinds of like little headlines that

pop up that are of local interest. And this headline jumped out at me.
