Let's move on to Ivermectin. This is an antiparasitic drug. It was, uh, began medically

used in 1981. Uh, it's on the WHO's list of essential medicines. It's FDA approved

as an antiparasitic drug, but it's shown to have antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2.

Um, it was, it was named, uh, Stro-Mectrol, uh, uh, uh, uh, when Merck patented it, but it

went off patent in 1996. So now it's generic. It could be made cheaply, widely available

in India. And what happened recently in India has a lot of people talking. So there's new

guidelines, uh, when it comes to treating SARS-CoV-2. So here's the headline health ministry, uh,

new guideline drops use of Ivermectin, H-C-Q, and antiviral, Faviperevere for COVID-19 treatment.

Now these are the, uh, and this is a report on this, right? Originally all last year when

Indie was having no, no cases or anything happening that they were putting out little

packets with Ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine vitamin D and some just essentials, they were

just, cause it was so cheap for just pennies they could hand out these little packets. And

the report was we just don't know why COVID is not spending spreading through India. Then

all of a sudden the vaccine program we reported on a few weeks comes and death starts skyrocketing.

Everything starts going crazy. And so now basically they've banned Ivermectin. Is that right?

Throughout India. Well, yeah, they did. Even though it was working all

last year. Yeah, they took away the recommendation, which would be kind of like the CDC taking the

recommendation away for a drug or a vaccine. So it makes it much harder to prescribe, it makes

it much harder to give these to the population and the state health ministries throughout India

aren't going to be recommending that. However, there are Indian states that are going against

this recommendation and independently recommending it on their own. Uh, firstly the state of
