Today we're going to look at an amazing scene in the life of Christ, what we often call the

transfiguration of Jesus. And let me ask you if you're following along in

chapter 16.

Now the account of the transfiguration actually occurs in Matthew 17,

but I want to give you some background and context that will help us see the backdrop for
