Between checking the deepest breath off my list of projects for the time being, and

another fun development, it's been a good week.

I was surprised and totally honored to receive an invite to speak at

Writers Digest's big New York City conference in April. Tight schedules and some other factors

being what they are. I wasn't able to make it work, but it totally made my week.

They also asked me to attend the LA conference in September, but when should not my sisters

getting married then. As a grouchy introverted total non-glob trotter, I probably would have passed out under all the stress, but

as you can imagine, I was doing the Snoopy dance just to have been asked.
