Riders and studios reaching a tentative agreement.

Neither side has released details, but the WGA says the deal is exceptional.

Riders on talk shows could soon return to work,

but most TV and film production is on hold while the actors' union remains on strike

with no talk scheduled.

Union leadership will vote on this deal.

If it's approved, it will then go to the more than 11,000 members of the Riders Guild.

Many of them will be able to return to work before the deal is fully ratified.

So a lot of your shows are going to return within days, they say?

Some of your more scripted shows where they got a film and everything like that

won't come back until next year, likely, some of your favorite shows.

But like your daytime talk shows, evening talk shows,

stuff like that might come back in a couple of days.

That's what the reporting was on the news yesterday anyway.
