game has a little bit more importance than usual. I mean, the UNC versus state game is always a big

deal. But this year, EJ, knowing that UNC is on the cusp of bowl eligibility and Mack

Brown's first year, how much importance do you put on this game, given the circumstances?

I put a lot of importance on it. I mean, this is a really big, significant game for us. I mean,

everything's pretty much in play right now. I mean, we're playing for a bowl game. We're playing to

really prove that Mac is back. I mean, you've seen the t-shirts all around the stadium and

on Franklin Street. And I think getting these guys to a bowl game in this first season back in

Chapel Hill will be a really big statement. And I think it's going to carry over into recruiting

with some of these in-state guys, because I mean, over the last few years, NC State really has been kind of getting some recruits that I feel like that we should have

had. So I definitely think that it's important. I mean, and it's NC State. I mean, these guys have

been getting the better of us in this rivalry over the last few years. And yeah, they have a lot

of injuries and everything going on with their program this year. So this is really an opportunity versus strike while the iron is hot and really take this game in their home field.

It's going to be a night game.

So the crowd's going to be plenty of raucous.
