Welcome back to In the Trenches. We've got so much that we need to talk about today,

and I've got one of my favorite guests of all time, new member of the College Football Hall of Fame,

John, better known as Jumbo Elliott, stopped by this week to talk with us a little bit.

So we're going to, we'll get to him and so much more that has happened this week here on In the Trenches.

Let's go in the trenches with John Jansen.

The former Wolverines captain in Michigan Sports Hall of Famer will take you inside the locker room with players and coaches.

There'll be many more Michigan linemen get in there. So I'm looking at it.

Like I'm stepping in, you know, for my brothers I played with and all the other greats, you know,

played on the front lines from Michigan. Once again, here's John Jansen. Welcome back, friends.

And this is not our normal time that we come to you. Normally we release on Wednesdays, but this is a unique time frame that we are experiencing that we're living in.

Historic times, really. I think we're going to look back at this and say, we didn't understand it now. We don't understand it then, but with the coronavirus and no sports, we're going to

try and do our best to deliver as much entertainment as we possibly can.

But before we get to John Jumbo Elliott, I've got my radio partner who was in Indy preparing for the Michigan Rutgers basketball game,

and that is Brian Bush.

And gosh, what was it like being down in Indianapolis?

Take us through the process.

This was as bizarre, as unique, as surreal of an experience as I've been a part of.

And Gary Mills, Tony Butler, and I made the trip down to Indianapolis.

We left Wednesday afternoon, got into town about before 4 o'clock, I'd say, into Indy and, you know, went to our rooms,

got set to go, ended up, you know, I ended up grabbing the dinner.

They ordered some pizza.
