We're here to wrap up this 2019 football season as the season concludes with Michigan losing to Alabama in the Verbo Citrus Bowl, 35 to 16.

Let's start with this ball game and the mood in the locker room.

Obviously, never easy to lose, especially in the final game of the season.

This group will never play together again in the winged helmet for the maize and blue. What's the vibe in

the locker room like? Well, it's obviously a disappointment. You know, you're playing against

a team like Alabama, especially going into halftime with the momentum that Michigan had 16 to 14,

kicking the field goal, the 57-yarder by Quinn Nordine, you really felt like, hey, you know what, Michigan played well in the first half.

I was in the press box talking to Dan Deerner from Jim Brantzstetter, and we all had commented on how well we thought Michigan had played in the first half,

and that we wanted to see them come out in the second half and really played the same way.

And we just didn't see any consistency or rhythm in the second half.

And that's really the difference maker in this game.
