Welcome back to In the Trenches. This is the post-spring competition. I'm not really sure if we call it spring game, spring practice, but we're going to call it the spring competition that happened in the big house on Saturday.

We're going to get a chance to cover that as well as talk to Dylan McCaffrey. All of that and more coming up on In the Trenches.

Let's go in the trenches with John Jansen. The former Wolverines captain in Michigan Sports Hall of Famer will take you inside the locker room with players and coaches.

We're spreading our guys out a little bit more, putting more actual space between our guys and the defenders on the field.

We've reduced the huddle. We're looking at the sidelines and we kind of streamline a lot of things.

Just tune in, wait and see.

I can't prove anything to the season, so I just have to wait and see.

what was your biggest takeaway from that? Well, it's when I think about spring ball, I think

there's two things that I want to know coming out of spring ball. One is that we're healthy.
