So much of fall camp revolves around preparing for the football season, preparing for your first

opponent. You're in meetings that you're watching film, inputting plays. All of these different things

are put in. You're on the practice field. You're in the training room. You're in the weight room.

You're doing a lot of things to get ready for the football season. But there is also a business and

rule side that you have to be

educated on as a college athlete. And these are meetings regarding compliance, counseling services

that are available, procedures involving the equipment room, training room, weight room,

nutrition. There's so much knowledge that they have now about what to eat, when to eat,

how to handle social media and

reporters. There are so many kids that come in here and have never had a microphone or a TV

camera in front of their face and how to handle those situations. There's also drug testing

and educating the players on substances of abuse, what they can do, how they, how they're a

detriment to playing football, what they do to your

body, also meetings on performance enhancing drugs. So there's all of those business and rules

meetings that have to take place. And when you're doing that, you're still preparing for the

football season because if you don't do those things right, you're not on the field. I'm John
