We are here in week three of this college football season.

We got SMU coming to town 3.30 Saturday afternoon.

It is our final tune-up before we hit the Big Ten season.

We got Nebraska coming to town next week, Scott Frost.

So we'll talk a little bit in this show about what we're going to see from SMU.

We'll rehash a little bit about Western Michigan, talk to True Wilson, Carlo Kemp, Jordan Glasgow, and a whole lot more. Stay tuned. This is In the Trenches.

Let's go in the trenches with John Jansen. The former Wolverines captain in Michigan Sports Hall of

Famer will take you inside the locker room with players and coaches. It's different when there's that many people watching you.

And in that stadium, it's a great feeling.

You can take away the field goals.

So I guess that's an area to improve on it.

There's a lot of things that we did well,

and a lot of things we can keep building on,

and I really think size is limited.

That moment was, it was one that I'll remember forever. Once again,

here's John Jansen. Well, this week around Schembecker Hall, the spirits are a little bit

different than they were last week. There's an old saying that says, winning cures all ales, and that

is mostly true. You've got to make sure that it doesn't cover up any of the ails that you still need to fix.

So we'll talk about some of those as we get further into this show. But it is. It is a nice week to be

around Schenbecker Hall. Everybody's a little bit happier than they were following the loss last week.
