In John, if you would look at the third chapter, at our text again.

We began a series a few weeks ago called In the Spirit.

In the Spirit.

And in John 3 and 5, Jesus said, except a man be born of water and of spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.

Jesus differentiated.

Flesh is flesh and spirit is spirit.

We need that very distinct in our thinking.

In the fourth chapter, right there just next door perhaps,

John 4 and 20, the woman at the well said to Jesus,

our fathers worshipped in this mountain,

but you say, talking about Jewish

people, that in Jerusalem is the

place where men ought to worship.

Verse 21, Jesus said to her,

woman, believe me, the hour comes

when you shall neither in this mountain

nor yet at Jerusalem worship the Father.

It's not about where you worship.

He said, you worship, you know not what.

We know what we worship for salvation is of the Jews.

The Messiah came out of the seed of Abraham.
