This is the thing that we're not supposed to talk about, but we have to talk about.

You know the old expression, the elephant in the living room. It's a big, obvious thing that's kind of awkward, so nobody wants to talk about.

Well, in this case the

elephant is donald trump who says he's not going to be competing attending participating in any

of the republican debates now and so he's the elephant not in the living room so what's everybody

else going to talk about hey everybody i'm steve'm Steve Green with Bill Whittle and Scott Ott.

Gentlemen, so Donald Trump had made it known that he probably wasn't going to attend the first debate,

which I think is being held in Wisconsin on Wednesday night.

I'll be drunk blogging that for PJ Media, by the way.

It'll be fun.

But he went to true social, which I understand some people actually read over the weekend.

The media does. To make the following announcement, the public knows who I am and what a successful

presidency I had with energy independence, strong borders and military, biggest ever tax and regulation cuts,

no inflation, strongest economy and history, and much more.

And the next part is in all caps in classic Trumpian style.

I will therefore not be doing the debates, plural.

Bill, my buddy Kurt Schlichter over at town hall says there's no upside to Trump attending

the debates. He's pretty much peaked, and where he's peaked is a very good place to be in

the polls right now. What do you think? Is this the smart move? Or should he be there as just a decency of the Republican voters who he still needs to court?
