Brian Becker. There are still thousands of troops in Washington, D.C., and Biden had promised to

take immediate action to stop the suffering of people around the country from this huge

economic downturn from the pandemic, from so many issues that are happening for people.

There are more arrests from the January 6th assault on Congress still coming, but we haven't

yet seen any consequences for Trump.

The United States is still in crisis.

The January 6th dispersal of Congress, the assault on Congress,

was dramatic. The last serious refusal by one of the ruling class parties to accept the peaceful

transfer of power was in the 1860 election of Abraham Lincoln, which precipitated a civil war. That was America's

bloodiest war. 650,000 people were killed out of a population of 30 million. An equivalent

proportional casualty figure today when the U.S. population hovers around

350 million would be about 6.5 million dead. That's a big deal. January 6th was dramatic,
