Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today, Monday, June the 27th. Remind me the next time there is a train strike, the following day, don't try and get a train. Basically, they were sticking two fingers up to us.

So on Friday, I finished early, as you know, 6am, which was lovely.

I thought, I could be home really early.

Be home by 7.

So I get the bus.

I go to Waterloo Station.

It's all closed.

It's all closed.

It didn't open, in in fact till 6.30.

Yeah, we did, exactly. We finished early, but I'm even so, you know, I thought there'd be trains running from 6.30.

No, no, no, 8 o'clock the trains were running from. So we all sat there like lemons staring into the distance and the staff at Waterloo Station basically just staring into the distance. I don't know what they were there for.

There was no point in them being there because there were no trains running.

I mean, it was absolutely the most ludicrous thing.

So I've decided in future the train companies are not getting my money.

I'm going to give it to the buses.

And I should have gone to the buses.

And then I could have been

home by sort of, you know, seven o'clock quite easily. But, you know, what can you do? What can you

do? It's nice that all the papers were full over the weekend of how much all the different union

leaders, you know, are worth and how much the companies, they represent a worth. The richest one is Unite.

Unite has got something like nearly a billion pounds.
