Summary

Mets beat the Marlins 8-4 in David Peterson's Citi Field debut. The lefty continues to show that he has what it takes to pitch in this rotation and despite a few early runs, settled down for the W!! JD Double Davis Davis extended his hit streak to 12 while driving in 4, Michael Conforto went big fly and Pete Alonso hit a baseball that went supersonic on its way to putting a hole in the outfield wall. When this team is clicking and the bullpen is solid its scary to think about what they are capable of, now it's just going to come down too consistency. We've got day game deGrom on the mound today so we'll just pray for runs and hope we can take the next step.
