Hey there, I'm so glad you stopped by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.

So I want to begin with you in John 1-1 and read through verse 5. John 1 in the beginning was the Word.

And the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning through him all things were made without him.

Nothing was made that has been made. Verse 4, in him was life and that life was the light of men.

The light shines in the darkness but the darkness has not understood it.

Other renderings of that Word is not overcome it, could not apprehend it, could not take it in its control.

Something hit me afresh last night and this morning as I was approaching these words.

What kind of man is inspired to write the words in the beginning was the Word.

And the Word was with God and the Word was God.

What kind of man writes a thing like that?

I began thinking and it just hit me with a fresh truth and I pray that you will sense the same kind of thing that how astonishing progressive revelation is.

All scripture is God breathed and we know according to God's Word that it is eternal in its essence.

In other words, every single scripture from Genesis 1-1 all the way through the very end of Revelation 22 already existed before man ever existed.

Do you understand what I'm saying?

There came a time as God had the eternal Word with him.

There came a time in history when he would give out the next piece and the next piece and the next piece and the next piece until he wrapped it up at the very end of Revelation and he said you would be very unwise, very unwise indeed to take away from this or to add to it.

It is complete. This is the revelation.

The bow on it and it is done as far as written revelation is concerned.

Now there is natural revelation. In other words, he says you cannot deny I exist because all you have to do is look around you.

And someone who tries to deny the existence of God is working extremely hard to do it because everything in nature, even in what we walk around in in the magnificence of the manufacturing of the very body,

we live in, says to us, there must be design. There absolutely must be design.

So as we come to these passages, I want you to think with me that one day it just came upon the Apostle John in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
