Gonna go across town to that clown car full of children with Ryan Callahan

are recruiting czar at Govalls 24-7 and we're gonna ask him why we are having this breaking news podcast.

So Ryan, I will go directly to you. Ryan, why are we here?

Well, Tennessee has gotten an in-state commitment in the 2022 class, linebacker Elijah Herring, from Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro.

It's been a couple or more than two months with a pretty slow start for Tennessee

and recruiting under under Josh Hypel staff for understandable reasons you know the

staff inheriting some some real challenges and coming into a tough situation in late January,

kind of late in the recruiting or in the coach hiring season to be making a change.

So they come in in tough situation with a dead period,

not much chance to get some momentum.

So it's been a slow start

to get some results from the work they've put in over the past couple months and

now getting an in-state commitment with Elijah Herring

and beating out Michigan.
