Hi friends. I'm on the road for my sister's wedding, but I wanted to film the special episode of the Lila Rose show in tribute of my friend Charlie Kirk. I've actually already tried to start filming this and afterwards I thought there's so much more I didn't say that I wanted to say and I was looking back over all of my messages with Charlie and reflecting on the last decade of

knowing Charlie.

And there's some things that I wanted to make sure that I shared in his honor.

We lost an incredible human being.

And I can only imagine the devastation that his beautiful wife and children are experiencing

right now.

Let's first and foremost pray for them.

But there is so much of Charlie's life that I think leaves a legacy that we can learn from

and that we can honor.

I first met Charlie nine years ago at a retreat for conservative leaders, this private retreat,

and I was giving a pro-life talk, and he came up to me

afterwards and was saying, great job. I love what you're doing. Let's collaborate. And that was Charlie

always. He was always focused on collaboration. How can we do better together? What can we build? I mean,

the guy was amazing with his

Rolodex. He'd get the number and then just start texting right away, figuring things out,

making plans. He always saw opportunity everywhere he looked. And he was always so encouraging.

That was another aspect of Charlie. He wanted encouragement from others and he gave encouragement generously.

Great job on Dr. Phil. Go, go, go. Great job on Tucker. Just became a monthly toner.

Great job on Rubin. Amazing. I'm donating to live action now. People need to hear you more.

Very encouraging. And Charlie became a donor to live action years ago and faithfully has been giving thousands of dollars a year to live action.

And not only is he doing that, but most importantly, he, especially in the last five years, became more and more publicly passionate about defending unborn lives and babies and defending

marriage and being open about faith. And I've not met his beautiful wife, Erica, but I imagine
