Do you remember how sweet the gospel sounded to you that that hour you

first believed like the old song says, how sweet it sounded to know that your sins were

forgiven, to know that everything had been paid at the cross, to know that you stood before God completely righteous, forgiven, declared innocent.

Maybe it was a long time ago for you.

How are things lately? Have you heard the sweetness of that gospel lately? Is that

gospel that sweet word of forgiveness once and for all accomplished by Christ

from beginning to end still for you or have you been told to move on

to more important and pressing matters in the Christian life? Is it getting you down or you burnt out on the church because that was once so sweet

has now turned somewhat sour. We're going to talk about moralism and

legalism tonight on issues etc. Rod Rosenblatt is a regular guest here on
